The CI-V protocol for these RTX has the following limitations:

For all models ( IC- 706 - IC- 706MKII - IC- 706MKII / G) :
You can not read or write the name of the memories .
You can not read or write the value of CTCSS .
You can not read or write the value of the DUP .

Only for the IC- 706 and IC - 706MKII :
You can not read or write the name of the memories .

Can not read the S -Meter
Can not read the SQL
You can not read or write the Attenuator

These are hardware limitations of these RTX and can not be implemented in the management software .

IC706_BKT CAT is used to control the transceiver Icom IC-706, IC-706MKII IC-706MKII/G and IC-718 from the personal computer. To do this use the port CI-V located behind the RTX and a small interface that converts the signal for the serial port of a personal computer. The program works under Windows 32 and 64 bit. The set of commands executable by the CI-V interface is rather limited, to overcome this limitation, in some cases, the program will perform more than one operation in sequence.

Tested with serial and USB interfaces.
