Hi,

I have found this program via Moon-Net. I have had problems in synching my computers for WSJT JT65b (Moonbounce) use where the correct time is vital.

I have installed in my back-up laptop (Windows7) and it works a treat - theinformation screen comes up and I can sync when I want to, change the server etc.

I then installed it in my main computer (also Windows 7) and it worked fine. However, at sometime the information screen has gone. The program is still installed and I have enabled the clock to run on the desktop - it is still there. If I double click on the icon on the desktop a PUW comes up asking me if I 'would allow the following program from an unknown publisher to make changes..yes / no'. If I hit 'yes' nothing happens.

I have tried uninstalling then re-installing but I cannot get the screen back. When I un-install it tells me to stop BktTimeSync from running - this is not possible as I cannot get to the screen in question.

So, 2 questions...

1/ If the desktop clock is working does this mean that the program is fully installed and it is keeping my computer at the correct time?

2/ How do I recover the information screen so I can manually sync, change servers etc?

If all else fails then it will have to be system restore to a previous date but I really do not want to this!!!

I have used IC7000BKT with Multipsk and they communicate with each other without MyDDE even running at least not visibly.

I believe that IC7000BKT can communicate with fldigi and other software via DDE as well but I have had no success with fldigi with MyDDE running or otherwise. Is there a help file somewhere to guide me? I did think that maybe BKTExtension is required but I cannot even find where I can download BKTExtension to try.

Any advice would be appreciated.

In the medium term I was hoping to use my FDM-DUO as a panadapter and link it and the IC-7000 with IC7000BKT and perhaps using the Elad software or most likely HDSDR with DDE. This might be a bit ambitious but perhaps you can comment on this scenario.

Ho appena scaricato il programma IC7000BKT per Icom IC7000.
Vorrei utilizzare questo programma anche per editare un file per memorizzare i ponti radio della zona 0 ed eventuali altre frequenze.
Non so se già è stato discusso quest argomento e se magari c'e' un file da editare.

I can provide screenshots, just ask.

When installing IC7000BKT A window pops up, in english, asking for the correct language. make sure English is selected. The rest of the install, setup and configuration proceeds in Italian and the final running screen is in Italian.

Except for the on-screen "Select Language" pop down. It's title is in English (unles "Select Language" is Italian for the same thing) and the vhoice selected is "English."

Any suggestions? My YL's strong suggestion is for me to learn Italian.

Sometimes I have trouble understanding how I could have been on the internet since day two but yet things still confuse me. Dementia, I guess.

I am trying to download the latest copy of IC7000BKT. I have followed all the links to download until I get to:

then I am stuck. Now I select the link under the picture of the rig an expect a download finally starts but rather I am brought a couple of pages back. I do not see a link to continue farther. There is a "menu" icon with a "Download" item but that just puts me into the same page loop as the above link..

Any help for the old guy would be appreciated.
