Please can you help.??

I have GPS Chipset: U-blox 8 from Amazon: http://tiny.cc/UBLOX-8-GPS

I installed what I believe is the "standard" driver, it showed "COM4" in device manager.
I installed VisualGPSView and it immediately started working when I selected COM4
I let it run for a few hours, no issues.

I installed BkTimeSync and selected COM4, but it appears there is no detection of GPS.?
No data is showing in the GPS area of application window..??

Any suggestions would be appreciated.... Thank You

You can add this to the list of home made Icom CI-V cables .
I just made this one and it worked. I used a different kind of $2 usb to ttl board because I had one ( silicon labs CP210x is what it says )
Here is schematic - only need a resistor and diode.

Hello, IC7000BKT is great program, thanks. I am wondering if a future release could incorporate a memory comment column to the right of the SEL column. This would allow for repeater comments such as IRLP or  ECHOLINK number, or other useful information. The information is not storable on the radio but could be stored in the database and printed out with other memory information. The ICOM  WCS-7000 clone program has this feature. The YAESU clone program for my FT-7800 has this feature and I find it very usefull.

e' veramente valido perche' lo utilizzo per la modalita'
FT8, avrei bisogno di chiederti alcuni info sul tuo programma. Siccome ho
intenzione di utilizzare FT8 anche in modalita' outdoor per le mie attivita'
in portatile, vorrei sapere come va configurata la parte del tuo programma
relativa alla configurazione GPS. Se hai la possibilita'
di mandarmi qualche screen shoot in merito alla configurazione, te ne sarei

Ciao Mauro ho ricevuto e inserito il cod per l'attivazione del programma sul IC7000 . ma leggo sempre trial vrtsion , e' corretto cosi' e quali sono le differenze che avrei dalla versione completa alla versione base . Grazie
