Program crashes when attempting to load registration key

I have received the registration key ZL4LVIC7000BKT.bkt and installed it in the IC7000BKT Icom cat control folder as instructed. When attempting to register the program it crashes with a Windows error message then restarts without being registered. The registration key file has also been deleted. I have the latest version of the program installed. I have made several attempts with the same results. I have Norton Security installed, Windows 7 Pro in use.

I have since tried it on another computer and the registration was successful. I suspect Norton is the problem, any suggestions?

Trying to exclude the installation folder of IC7000BKT from Norton.
