Installation and Configuration

Unable to configure and get running. Program hangs.

Configuration details:
Dell XPS M1330 ; Intel Duo CPU ; T8300@2.4GHz; RAM 4 GB ; Windows 7; 32 Bit; SP1;
Interface: RigTalk RT1-USB version of the Icom CT-17 Serial Interface; COM 5; Setting 19.2, 8N1N; Driver WMR, 21.07.2010, version 6.1.0.0;

PROBLEM: IC7000BKT version 1.19.1; Run ic7000bkt_Setup.exe; Run IC7000BKT Icom CAT Control; Program Hangs, 8 bars in ’Initialization in process’ window; Status 5038; allow program another few minutes to initialize; can only close with ‘Task Manager’;
RETRY: check port config, then RUN ic7000bkt_Setup.exe; Hangs the same; Status2037………….. Tried several times and get Status of 6293, 2060, 4025, ………………
De-Install 1.19.1; clear C: of IZ2BKT folder and its IC7000BKT Icom CAT Control; Re-Start PC Folder; Install version 1.14.2; Failure the same; Status 5039; ………………………
RETRY: check port config, then RUN ic7000bkt_Setup.exe; Hangs the same; Status2037………….. Tried several times and get Status of 6293, 2060, ………………
De-Install 1.14.2; clear C: of IZ2BKT and its IC7000BKT Icom CAT Control; Re-Start PC; Install version 1.19.1; Failure the same; ………………………
Other programs, Commander v 5.8.7 seem to function correctly. I am not aware of and appropriate reference program.
