Encountered an improper argument

Hello:
I "updated" to the latest version and I have been experiencing program crashes since.
If I open the program with the IC-7000 in operation, I get "Error in the initialization of audio support".

When I acknowledge the error, an audio setting dialog box opens but when I check
"enable audio", I get the same error again. The other areas are not available for any
data input. Closing, the program crashes.

If I try to open the program from the start menu (as alternative to the desktop shortcut) I
get an alternate box stating "encountered improper argument" . I can close the program from here
without a complete "crash" but still no IC7000BKT program.

Anyone have any ideas?

Hi Herb,
you probably have some problem with the sound card (perhaps it is blocked by another software), try disabling the audio support : Utility->Configuration->Audio and uncheck Enable as audio support.

If you don't solve it, uninstall the program, delete the installation folder (default c:\iz2bkt\IC7000BKT Icom Cat control) and reinstall IC7000BKT.
