If internet synchronization works then the problem is in serial communication with the gps. The log does not report any errors
I have been a Happy user of Bkt TimeSync on my Ham radio base set-up. Recently I was building up a set up for doing QRP digital modes from Boy Scout campouts. The GPS is a ublox 7 usb dongle, and it works fine with BKT Time sync on my Win 7 desktop machine, however I also have a similar problem when I try to use it with my Win 10 laptop. Win 10 categorizes a GPS as a "Sensor" I did add the helper app that sets up the ublox7 to also be recognized on Com 10. The ublox software "Ucenter v 8.12" finds the GPS on Com10 and runs fine on the win 10 laptop, unfortunately the BKT Time sync SW doesn't find the GPS on Com10. Any suggestions?

Hi Brian,
to convert the USB to serial is installed GPS manufacturer's drivers, unfortunately, not all manufacturers follow the standard guidelines and this causes compatibility issues. To try to solve the problem should I install the GPS and its drivers.
It is likely that in the next versions of BktTimeSync I can insert a new interface to the serial connection.
Hi Mauro,
Thanks for the reply, will look forward to next version.

Hi Mauro,
I was wondering how soon will there likely be a next version of BktTimeSync, we have a fair number of Boy Scout camp outs scheduled, not to mention that Jamboree on the air (JOTA) is in a few weeks, having the ability to time sync the laptop via GPS to get digital mode going would be very handy.
Thanks & 73,
