BKTIMESYNC with Windows 11 PRO.
#1
I have the problem that in WINDOWS 11 PRO the BKTIMESYNC I have not been able to start when opening the windows or turning on the PC. I have used it in WINDOWS 8.1, 10 and 11 Home and if it opens without a problem.

Obviously enabling the functions of Start on Windows Startup, Start on system Tray, Sync on starup.

This is only on WINDOWS 11 PRO.  What can I do?

I have installed the latest version which is 1.14.0

Has anyone had the same problem?

Thank you in advance

Hi,
automatic startup of BktTimeSync has been tested on Windows 11 Pro and it works without any issues. Therefore, please double-check the scheduled task BktTimeSyncStart to ensure it's configured correctly.

To check if the scheduled task BktTimeSyncStart is running properly on Windows, you will need to open the Task Scheduler. Here's how:

- Open Task Scheduler: You can do this by typing Task Scheduler in the Windows search bar and selecting it from the results.
- Locate the Task: Once Task Scheduler is open, look for the task named BktTimeSyncStart. It might be located in the Task Scheduler Library or within a specific folder.
- Check Task Status: Once you've found the task, you can check its status, including:
- Last Run Time: This will tell you when the task was last executed.
- Last Run Result: This will indicate whether the task was successful or if there were any errors.
- Next Run Time: This will show you when the task is scheduled to run next.
- Review Task Properties (Optional): If you need more details, you can right-click on the task and select Properties. Here, you can review the task's triggers, actions, and other settings.
- Run the task manually (Optional): If you want to test the task immediately, you can right-click on it and select Run.

By following these steps, you can ensure that the BktTimeSyncStart task is running as expected.

If you're using a battery-powered PC, the issue you're experiencing might be related to power-saving settings that affect scheduled tasks. Here's a possible explanation: https://www.maniaradio.it/forum/showthread.php?tid=520
